Beautician
Hi, my name is Amie Roach. I have been the beautician
at MNRC for over three years.
I serve the residents with haircuts, perms, color, and
weekly sets. I also will apply makeup, and if the resident wants me too,
jewelry at times.
I truly love to pamper the residents every time they come
in to see me.
I am not a full time employee of the facility. Over
the years I have found the ladies like to have their hair done towards the end of the
week, therefore I am here all day Thursday and in the mornings on Friday. If you
ever have any questions please call the facility on those days and ask for the beauty
shop. I would love to speak with you.
I truly know how important it is for the residents to
look and feel great. While most love to go to the beauty shop,
occasionally a
resident may not be feeling like themselves or not feel well. If this happens I try to
approach them again later. I will not make them do something they don't want to do.
Please remember I work around dinners, doctor
appointments, therapy, and visitors, so a set appointment is impossible. I try my
best to get them done in the order I received the list of requests. Thank you so
much, I enjoy helping each resident to feel better.
