Fall Blessings to you all! Hello from the Activity Dept. Looks like the splendor of autumn is upon us. I don’t know about you but next to Christmas, Fall is my favorite time of the year. The blaze of color in the trees and the crispness in the air is just the refreshing we need after the heat of summer. Speaking of summer, we had an awesome summer here at MNRC. We truly utilized the patio/ courtyard this summer. The residents enjoyed homemade ice cream, watermelon, reminiscing about favorite summers past and several patio lunches. We also attended the Old Settlers Kiddie Parade and took in a couple movies at the Orpheum.
Looking ahead to upcoming events, we are going to attend the Montgomery Co. Senior show at the Hillsboro High School Gym featuring Doug Gabriel, a Branson favorite, on Oct. 26th. If any one would like to attend or volunteer to help “chaperone” we would be glad to have you on board. On November 23rd we will be attending the Senior Holiday Dinner at the KC Hall and our monthly trip to the Orpheum is October 28th with Gary Cooper in “The Westerner.” . One more exciting upcoming event to share: ELVIS will be in the building Monday December 8th for the Residents Christmas Party. Come join us as we celebrate our KINGS Birthday with the king of rock-n-roll. It will be Awesome! Also watch for our Angel Tree at Dollar General this holiday season. The Angel Tree is such a blessing to us here at MNRC, we appreciate the kindness of the people’s hearts who participate. Feel free to attend activities with your loved one at any time. If you have questions, suggestions or information just come by or call. Our door and ears are always open to you. We in activities would like to thank the resident’s families for the privilege of caring for your loved ones. We are truly blessed to serve them. Have a wonderful Blessed Holiday season. Remember Jesus is the reason for the Season.
God Bless You and Keep You
Cindi Paden Activity Director
P.S. Thank You to all who volunteer and help in any way. You are Angels.
